Schöningen Wooden Spears — uncommon Prehistoric artifact.
A set of wooden throwing spears dating to roughly 300,000 years ago was found in a coal mine in Schöningen, Germany. Made from spruce wood with fire-hardened tips, they are the oldest known complete hunting weapons.
