Achievements

All 28 Steam achievements available in the Archaeological Expedition demo. Hidden achievements are marked — their description still spoils the trigger.

Categories follow the in-game grouping: collection (era + rarity targets), event (one-shot triggers fired by gameplay), tool (purchases and tier sets), and mastery (meta achievements rolling up other unlocks).

Collection

Unlock by adding qualifying artifacts to your journal — counts can be filtered by era, rarity, or condition.

First Find — Discover your first Artifact.
First Islamic Find — Discover your first Islamic Artifact.
First Medieval Find — Discover your first Medieval Artifact.
First Roman Find — Discover your first Roman Artifact.
Islamic Perfectionist — Collect every Islamic Artifact in Perfect condition.
Medieval Perfectionist — Collect every Medieval Artifact in Perfect condition.
Roman Perfectionist — Collect every Roman Artifact in Perfect condition.

Event

Unlock the moment a specific in-game event fires (a bulldozer break, a clutch storm save, an artifact destroyed by the wrong tool).

Bittersweet (hidden) — Complete an Era with the final Artifact in less than Perfect condition.
Clean Sweep — Finish an Expedition with every available Artifact collected.
First Casualty (hidden) — Destroy your first Artifact.
Strongbox — Open your first Strongbox.
Once in a Lifetime — Discover your first Mythical Artifact.
Tool of the Trade — Purchase your first Tool Upgrade.
Lost to History (hidden) — Destroy a Mythical Artifact.
Please don't go. The tools need you (hidden) — You left Dig Site early.
Pristine Run — Complete Expedition with at least 10 artifacts collected, all in Perfect condition.
Storm Surfer — Grab an Artifact just before the Storm rolls in.
Window Shopper (hidden) — Visit the Shop and leave without buying anything.
Wrong Tool for the Job (hidden) — Destroy a Rare Artifact.

Tool

Unlock by purchasing or owning specific tools, or by completing a full hand-tool set at a given tier.

Silver Brush (hidden) — Own a Silver Brush.
Silver Pickaxe (hidden) — Own a Silver Pickaxe.
Silver Shovel (hidden) — Own a Silver Shovel.
Silver Loadout (hidden) — Own a Silver Brush, Pickaxe, and Shovel or better.

Mastery

Roll-ups: each mastery achievement unlocks once a set of underlying achievements is completed.

Demo Perfectionist — Earn every Demo Perfectionist achievement.
Demo Purist (hidden) — Earn every Demo Purist achievement.
Islamic Purist (hidden) — Complete the Islamic collection with every Artifact dug from the ground (no Strongbox assists).
Medieval Purist (hidden) — Complete the Medieval collection with every Artifact dug from the ground (no Strongbox assists).
Roman Purist (hidden) — Complete the Roman collection with every Artifact dug from the ground (no Strongbox assists).
