Golden Larnax of Philip II - mythical Greek artifact.
A rectangular gold chest discovered in Tomb II at Vergina, identified as the burial of Philip II of Macedon, father of Alexander the Great. The lid bears the embossed sixteen-pointed Vergina Sun, now the symbol of Greek Macedonia. One of the most significant finds in Classical archaeology.
