Inlaid Swords — rare Islamic artifact.

Steel swords with blades inlaid or overlaid with gold and silver calligraphy, arabesques, and geometric designs were produced across the Islamic world from the Umayyad period onward. Damascus steel blades are famed for their distinctive watered pattern.
