AKKA Game Studios is a small Ukrainian team building games as a passionate group of friends.
Currently shipping Archeological Expedition — a cozy archaeology dig-sim across ten historical eras, releasing on Steam in 2026 with a public demo during Steam Next Fest (15–22 June 2026). The studio's published catalog also includes Gravity Well and Zoom-It on Steam, plus jam entries hosted on itch.io.

Studio focus
AKKA leans toward casual-genre games that sit on top of real simulation or educational mechanics. Archeological Expedition packages real-world archaeology — actual artifacts, real dig sites, accurate eras — into an approachable cozy loop. Gravity Well dresses an orbital-mechanics simulation as a puzzler. The disguise is intentional: each game is designed so players who came for the cozy/casual surface still walk away having internalized something real.
Origin
Archeological Expedition began as a 72-hour entry to Brackeys Game Jam 2024.2 — built duo with Yevhen, who is credited on the Steam release. The current scope is the result of expanding that jam build with extensive additional research, art, and engineering.
